Why Press “Publish”? 2 Good, Frightening and Freeing Reasons

So, you want to know what these posts are about.
“Well…. Um….”
I stand on the stage, microphone in hand, knees knocking. “I dunno,” I finally spit out.
“What did she say?” they whisper.
“I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M WRITING ABOUT, OK!?!” I slam the microphone down and storm off stage.
I am trying to find my voice.
I haven’t found it yet. Don’t judge me. You may pretend you are all together and have a USEFUL newsletter that can HELP someone, but you don’t fool me.
I can see your cracks.
OK, OK, there MAY be one or two newsletters out there that ARE useful and that DO help someone, but this newsletter isn’t one of them. These posts are a bit raw. I may expose some spiritual depth and emotional heartache we don’t discuss daily.
All posts will be intermeshed with the most significant topic of all – a spiritual thirst for God that permeates our every move, whether we are consciously aware of this or not.
We will meander through many topics, including homeschooling, healthy living and our undiscussed neuroses. Oh. And did I mention I love to laugh?

It’s just me and the microphone.
Have I scared you away so you will never EVER read these posts? Perfect! (Watching many people leave)
Whisper: It’s just you and me left.
Let’s be honest.
Any mean comments will be removed because, let’s face it, some people are a bit scary. Putin, for example, is not allowed to post comments. And have you seen what regular people say to each other on the internet these days?
This site isn’t like that.
We are kind. As long as comments are respectful, I promise to post everything, especially those that disagree with my writing. Because listening to others and responding from our hearts is how we grow.
But ENOUGH rambling!
Let’s start.
Grab something to drink, sit back, and let’s open our hearts to one another.
What should we talk about? Should you go first? Wait, this is my newsletter, so I guess I’ll start.
Welcome!
I’ll start writing, and then I’ll pass you the pen.
Read on, friend!
I hope you find your voice, too.
And let’s have some fun!

And so, we write out our thoughts here – me writing, you correcting and vice versa because:
